Library Membership

At the start of the new academic year, we plan to launch Library Membership which – for a low annual fee – will offer the most popular features of Ingenta Connect Complete and will replace the current Alerting Service. Single sign on features, such as Open Athens and Shibboleth, will only be available to our members. The new scheme will offer the following benefits at launch:

• User support via mail and IM
• RSS feeds for new issues
• Request activation by your subscription agent
• Athens & Shibboleth authentication
• SUSHI reports
• Keyword Alerting for published material by Keyword, New Issue and for Pre-Publication
• Customise messaging in Alerts
• Your institution’s custom page with your logo, internal (e.g. departmental) links and custom text
• Control over Google Scholar (Subscriber Links)
• Exportation of MARC XML records for enabled subscriptions
• Compare usage between titles in Excel/CSV

The first three months of membership, from September to December 2016, is offered to all those who join up as part of the first full year of membership at no additional charge – so any institution applying to join in October will receive 15 months’ membership benefits for the price of 12. Payment will be via single click-through on site via credit or debit card.

All other regular Ingenta Connect features – browsing, access to OA and subscribed content, IP authentication and COUNTER4 reporting – will continue to be available free of charge for library members and non-members alike.
